In February 2024, the CDH Investment Bank approved a Line of Credit to Digital Microcredit Ltd to the tune of MK300,000,000 (Three hundred million kwacha) to finance disbursement loans to civil servants to scale up their businesses and assist them own assets.

The objective of this line of credit is to allow civil servants across Malawi, access to cheap credit and diversify their incomes by engaging in business and entrepreneurship.

Through this loan facility Digital Microcredit Ltd is complimenting Governments’ efforts of financial inclusion and financial deepening to ensure access to cheap finance by offering loans to civil servants with a special focus on the following loans that we are disbursing: agribusiness, trading, irrigation farming, cross boarder, MSMEs and Youth and women, clean energy and any other projects related to climate change including reforestation.
